Wear it Again Sam has not moved far.

We are on Spit Rd, directly opposite Greater Union Cinemas. If you're heading north to Manly from Spit Junction, we are at number 50 Spit Rd, between Vintage Cellars and the Post Office.

Also, there is access via the lane in the back of the building. Horden Place, as the lane is called, runs from Bridgepoint Centre, behind the Newsagent, Oracle Books, Vinnies, Vintage Cellars - all the way along till it joins Ourimbah Rd.

Judging by the pedestrian traffic this lane is already a favourite shortcut for many, so look out for us the next time you use it.

If not, walk down from Bridgepoint the next time you're getting your groceries - it is not far to walk. We still offer a great range of kids clothes, books and toys at low, low prices.

MAKE MONEY FOR CHRISTMAS

Sell us your unwanted toys and have some extra cash for Christmas.

We need some good quality toys to sell at our store for Christmas. Call us on 99601934 and make an appointment to sell us the toys your children no longer play with.
They must be washed and cleaned and with batteries included. (You may take batteries back after we confirm they are working fine)
No soft toys like teddy-bears - everyone has too many of those - and no toys with 100's of pieces where it is impossible to ensure they are "all there".
We also take kids' tables and chairs, doll's prams, etc. dolls' houses and the like.
We also buy dvds, cd's, and videos (only popular ones e.g. Wiggles, Hi Five and Disney)

So get cleaning out the cupboards while kids are occupied - otherwise they put them all back!!- and give us a call - soon.

I admit to have been a bit of a "failed blogger" lately. I could regale you with all sorts of amazing and funny excuses - but I will spare you my humour.

Just come visit Wear it Again Sam during the school holidays. We have the most wonderful selection of stock for all sizes. (Remember, we go up to size 12-14).

Parking under building for 3 hours - lift to shop - play area and videos for kids. - what's stopping you!!!

We have launched our new Samsaver Card and it is going gangbusters.

Start getting your kids' summer gear ready for us to sell. We commence taking appointments in September - so call us then. Re-wash everything - try soaking in Napisan. To bring in to us just fold neatly and pile in plastic bags. If bringing shoes - must be in very good condition. Toys must be washed where possible and have batteries included. (You may take batteries back with you, but we must know if toys work!!!)

We also need summer maternity wear. Must only be a couple of years old and recently washed.

WHAT A CONTRAST

I carried on about brilliant weather in my last update - and now we are having appalling conditions with rain and wind, floods and damage!
We bought a holidy house in Toronto on Lake Macquarie last year and just love to get out of Sydney on the weekend. With 5 adult children and 5 grandchildren it is a wonderful oasis of calm for us to enjoy each other's company.
But not the last two weekends! If you live up that way or on the Central Coast and got damaged or lost power I really feel for you. Hope things will improve for you quickly.
Maybe you could pass on to other mums your stories of coping through it all with young children. Sometimes telling others helps and reminds the rest of us that things aren't too bad after all.

WHAT A BEAUT WEEKEND

We all had to dig down to the bottom of the washing basket to find something summer to wear this weekend. Wasn't it a wonderful 2 days!!

However, commonsense tells us that it will get cold again and with young children we need to be prepared - they probably will not fit into what they wore last year!

We added 100's of items to our great stock last week - probably our biggest intake for many months. Come visit before it runs out the door. All so easy - level access from Militlary Rd. or park under building for 3 hours free and take lift to shop. We have low prices, all the best brands including Fred Bare, Seed, Country Rd., IKKS, Catamini, Kenzo, Timberland - you name it! We have a kids play area, we take all cards, we layby and we give a full refund if you have to bring back a purchase.

We have lots of experience helping mums (and grandmothers) stock up with clothing (we're wiz's on picking the right size), toys, books, videos, dvd's etc.

Our Maternity section is really becoming popular - with items from $10 to around $45 it won't break the bank to look good during your pregnancy

Hope all you Mums and Dads had a bit of R & R over the Easter Holidays. Now is the time to stock up with warm clothing for Autumn and Winter - the kids really need long sleeved tee-shirts and warmer pants or jeans for the cooler mornings and evenings.

We are wonderfully stocked up and are fully booked up with people selling us their clothes all through April! You could pop in every few days and find new things on the shelves!

For example - we have some great Diesel jeans which would fit 10 -12 year old girls at present - they are in great condition - as new.

Last week we got some terrific things for 000 - 0 baby boys!
