I think as mothers and, in my case, a grandmother it is difficult not to think of the little ones and want to hug them close at the moment. So many dire things happening. How much are they taking in - should we be protecting them more. Keeping them away from the news on tv, not talking too alarmingly about natural disasters, fighting in Libya, etc. Do you ever read Mia Freedman? She sprouts so much common sense. HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

Feeling a bit Irish as it is March 17th! Well my name is Pat! I was born on 29 February (Yes Leap Year - yes I am still a teenager!) and christened Patricia on St Patrick's day!

Green is for St Patrick's day and "green" is for being environmentally friendly. Come sell me your kids outgrown clothing and buy some re-cycled in the next size. All good!

I decided to ignore January and February this year - couple of nothings really!
